Utility knife is a small light weight knife that can be used for used for light cutting. The blade of the knife is almost six inches long, that is slightly larger than a paring knife. This knife is used to cut cucumbers, larger apples, smaller squash, and other mid-sized items, that are too large to cut by a paring knife, and too small to cut by a chef's knife.
