The term Hors D'oeuvres is a French word of describing a particular segment of appetizers. Hors D'oeuvres is when translated in English it means "before the work". It specifically means little snack foods served before or outside of (hors) the main dishes of a meal (the oeuvres). Warm hors d'oeuvres will overwhelm diners, and provide small and interesting bursts of flavor in the mouth which do not ruin the appetite for the main meal. When hors d'oeuvres are being served alone at a party, they are sometimes more substantial so that guests do not drift away in search of other food. We offer a wide collection of warm hors d'oeuvres like Bacon Roll Ups, Bacon Swirls, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Bacon Cheddar Appetizers, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Appetizers and Barbecued Little Smokies. |
