Herbed Stew


3 lb. stew meat
1/2 C. flour
Salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
2 onions
1 1/2 C. Mr. & Mrs. "T" Bloody Mary Mix
1 1/2 C. water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 C. fresh mushrooms


Place flour and seasoning in plastic bag. Add cubed meat and shake well until coated. Brown meat in butter. Chop onions into lrg. pieces and add to meat. Add remaining ingredients except mushrooms. Cover and simmer 2 hr. over low heat. DO NOT BOIL.


After 2 hr., add mushrooms whole. Simmer a further 30 min.


Servings 6.
