Soups for Salads :: Stews
1 lb. stew meat
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
3/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced (fresh or canned)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 C. sauterne wine
Do not brown meat. Place in casserole; add all other ingredients. Mix well. Do not salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 300 degrees F for 3 hr. or until tender.
