Soups for Salads :: Stews
2 lb. stew meat
1 1/2 Tbsp. curry powder, divided
Salt to taste
1 sm. onion, diced
4 C. water
2 med. carrots, diced
3 med. potatoes, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 C. cream
Fry meat until brown. Add 1 tsp. curry powder and salt. Add onion and water. Let simmer for about 45 min. Add remaining vegetables and remaining curry powder. Simmer until vegetables are cooked. Add cornstarch mixed in a little water along with the cream. Stir until thickened.
