Soups for Salads :: Soups for the Crock Pot
4 chicken bouillon cubes
2 C. split peas
2 C. water
1/2 C. ham
1/2 C. celery
1/2 C. onion
1/3 C. carrots
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. parsley
2 C. milk
Prepare 4 chicken bouillon cubes with hot water according to pkg. directions. Put mixture in crockpot. Add all ingredients except milk to crockpot. Simmer for 8 hr. on LOW or for 4 hr. on HIGH.
One hr. before servings, add milk.
