Soups for Salads :: Soups for the Crock Pot
6 C. water
1 lb. dried navy beans
1/2 lb. beef cubes, browned
1 sm. onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp. rosemary
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Soak beans in water in crockpot overnight.
Cover and cook on for HIGH for 2 to 3 hr. until tender (do not drain water from pot).
Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW for about 8 hr..
Serve hot, garnished with chopped chives.
