Soups for Salads :: Soups for the Crock Pot
1 lb. ground round
1 can mixed vegetables
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 lrg. onion, chopped
1 sm. can V-8 juice
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Crumble meat into a lrg. boiler. Add in chopped onions, salt and pepper. Simmer until meat is cooked.
Place meat in a lrg. crockpot. Drain off half of the liquid from the vegetables. Add mixed vegetables and remaining broth. Add in V-8 juice, chili powder, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce. Cook on LOW for 2 to 3 hr.. If you like your soup to be more "soupy" you may add a few C. of water.
