Low-Fat and Low-Calorie Recipes :: Side Dishes
1 lb. breakfast or Italian Sausage
Chopped onion and green bell pepper
4 C. shredded cabbage
2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes (drain one)
1/2 C. Min. rice (dry)
Brown meat, onion and pepper; drain any fat.
Mix together all ingredients together in a sprayed 9 x 13-in. pan.
Bake at 325 degrees F, covered, for 1 1/2 hr..
Top with salsa for servings, if desired.
