Margarita Chicken


1/2 C. frozen nonalcoholic margarita mix, thawed
3 Tbsp. \nfreshly squeezed lime juice
\n1 clove garlic - crushed (or more)
3 lb. broiler or fryer chicken , cut up or 1 1/2 lb.
    skinless boneless chicken breast halves
Coarse salt


Mix margarita mix, lime juice and garlic in a lrg. resealable freezer plastic bag. Add chicken to bag. Seal and turn a few times to coat chicken. Refrigerate, turning bag occasionally. Marinate at least 1 hr., but no longer than 24 hr..


Remove chicken from bag and reserve marinade.


Place chicken on grill skin side up. Brush with marinade and sprinkle with some salt. Cover grill with lid and grill 5 to 6 in. from med. heat for 15 min.


Turn chicken, brush with remaining marinade and sprinkle with more salt. Cover and grill 20 to 40 min. longer until chicken tests done.
