Quick Meals- Salads and Sandwiches :: Pork and Ham Sandwiches
1 (5 lb.) pork loin
5 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1 (22 oz.) bottle catsup
1 onion
2 C. pork broth
1 C. water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place pork loin in a shallow baking pan, fat side up. Roast 3 hr., or until the temperature at the center of the pork is 160 degrees F. (If desired, roast a little longer to ensure it is very well done.)
Drain pork well. Chop into bite-size pieces with a lrg. knife.
In a lrg. saucepan or Dutch oven, Mix together remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer over med. heat. Add chopped pork; simmer 10 to 15 min.
