Dixie Bar-B-Que Sandwiches

1 med. onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter or butter replacement
1 Tbsp. vinegar
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 C. ketchup
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
1 C. water
1/2 C. celery, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 to 1 1/2 lb. cooked, shredded pork
4-6 sandwich buns


Mix together all ingredients except pork in a saucepan. Cook slowly until flavors are blended and butter is melted, about 15 min. Stir in pork. Serve on buns.


Makes approximately 4-6.
