Quick Meals- Salads and Pasta :: Pasta Recipes
2 lb. spaghetti
2 lb. ricotta cheese
1/2 C. whole milk
3 lrg. eggs
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. spicy Italian sausage
1/2 C. spaghetti sauce
1 lb. Provolone cheese, thinly sliced
1/2 C. Romano cheese, grated
Preheat oven to 475 degrees F.
In a lrg. pan, boil spaghetti 20 min.; drain and set aside.
Mix ricotta, milk and eggs together in a sm. bowl; add to spaghetti and stir together. Press into a 13 x 9-in. baking pan until compact and even.
Cook lean ground beef and sausage in a lrg. skillet. Drain fat, removing as much as possible. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Spread evenly over spaghetti base in pan. Layer slices of Provolone over meat mixture, then add the grated Romano on top of that. Bake 20 min.
