Soups for Salads :: Meat Based Soups
2 lb. stew meat, cut in 1-in. cubes
1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans
1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes
2 or 3 C. water
1 C. chopped green chiles
2 (15 oz.) cans hominy
Salt and pepper, to taste
Brown meat. Add remaining ingredients and boil gently for 3 or 4 hr., until meat is tender.
