Quick Meals- Salads and Sandwiches :: Lamb Sandwiches
1 1/2 lb. ground lamb
2 Tbsp. minced shallots
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
2 Tbsp. chopped mint
2 tsp. herb seasoning mix
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. ground chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. freshly-ground black pepper
1 egg
3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
In a mixing bowl, Mix together the lamb, shallots, garlic, mint, seasoning mix, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix well. Form into 6 lrg. patties. Fry over med.-high heat in extra virgin olive oil.
Drain and serve on buns the way you would hamburgers with your favorite condiments.
