Starters and Snacks :: Finger Foods
1 (10-in.) skillet-baked cornbread
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 ribs celery, chopped
1 C. dry bread crumbs
1 qt. chicken broth
1 tsp. sage
Salt and pepper, to taste
Crumble cornbread and mix all ingredients. Spread thinly on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 min.
Cut into bite-size pieces and serve at room temperature.
Makes approximately 36 squares.
