2 dozen
1 C. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 C. butter, softened
1 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C. Rice Krispies
Dash of ground red pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix together all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Chill for an hr. or more.
Shape into 1-in. balls and place on ungreased baking sheet and flattening slightly with a fork.
Bake for 10 to 12 min. until sbrowned lightly. Cool slightly before removing to a wire rack.
