Recipe for cooking salmon and pea chowder

Salmon and Pea Chowder


2 strips bacon, diced
1 med. onion, sliced
3 C. potato slices, 1/4-in. thick
3 C. boiling water
2 tsp. salt
2 C. flaked canned salmon
2 1/2 C. cooked peas
2 C. whole milk


Saut bacon and onion until golden brown. Add potatoes and boiling water. Cook until potatoes are tender. Add remaining ingredients, and heat to boiling. Serve immediately.
