Soups for Salads :: Chowders and Bisques

6 strips bacon, diced
3/4 C. diced celery
1 sm. onion, diced
1 C. diced uncooked potato
1 C. water
1 C. milk
1 (14 3/4 oz.) can cream style corn
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
In saucepan, cook the bacon, celery and onion over med. heat until the bacon is cooked. Drain. Add the potato and water. Cover and simmer 20 min. or until the potato is tender. Stir in corn, milk and seasonings. Heat through but do not boil.
