Recipe for cooking tex-mex dip


Starters and Snacks :: Chilled Hors d'oeuvres


Tex-Mex Dip

1 lb. lean lean ground beef
\n2 cans tomato sauce
\n1 can refried beans
\n2 Tbsp. Watkins Taco Dip Mix
\n2 tsp. Watkins Chili Powder
\n1 tsp. Watkins Onion Flakes
\n1 tsp. Watkins Salsa Seasoning Blend
\n1/4 tsp. Watkins Garlic Powder
\n1 C. reduced-fat sour cream
\nChopped onions, green bell pepper, tomatoes (as desired)
\nShredded lettuce and cheese (as desired)
\nCorn or tortilla chips

Brown beef, drain. Add tomato sauce, beans, and seasoning. Bring to a boil; simmer 2 to 3 min. Pour into pie plate. Top with sour cream, vegetables, and cheese. Serve with chips.

Makes approximately 12 servings.
