Starters and Snacks :: Butters and Spreads
8 oz. softened cream cheese
2 Tbsp. apricot, pineapple or peach preservings
1/3 C. flaked coconut
Mix together cream cheese and preservings, mixing until well blended. Add coconut; mix well. Chill. Serve with nut bread slices.
Variations
Add 1/8 tsp. aniseed; substitute 1/4 C. whole berry cranberry sauce for preservings.
