1 (3 lb.) boneless chuck roast
1 C. ketchup
1 C. water
1/2 C. vinegar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
Place meat in a casserole dish or Dutch oven. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and bake in a 325 degree F oven for about 3 hr..
Remove meat and shred with a fork. Return to sauce (or add enough sauce to meat to your liking ). Heat thoroughly and serve in sandwich buns or hard rolls.
