Cooked Carrot Salad


For this delectable cooked carrot salad, you will need the following.


Ingredients:


1 large bag carrots
3-T minced garlic
1 pinch salt
1 pinch sugar
Squirt lemon juice
½ t cayenne pepper
¼ t cumin
few shakes chopped parsley


Directions:


Clean the carrots, cut lengthwise, and cook them in a small amount of water. In the pan with the carrots, add the garlic, salt, and sugar, cook for about 15 minutes. Drain the carrots and chill in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve them, take the lemon juice, salt, cayenne, cumin, and mix, and then toss over the carrots. Sprinkle with the parsley.


Many people prefer to use baby carrots for this dish. They are easy and small, so a lot of work is already done. Just wash them and they are ready to use.
