Cheese & Bacon Frittata
This recipe is great with sausage and scalloped potatoes for brunch or with a salad for lunch.\r\n\r\n5 eggs\r\n3/4 cups of milk\r\n1 green onion\r\n2 tablespoons melted butter\r\n1/2 teaspoon salt\r\n1/4 teaspoon pepper\r\n4 oz of shredded cheddar cheese\r\n6-8 slices of cooked crisp bacon crumbled.\r\n\r\nPreheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a medium size au gratin dish or a 9 inch deep pie dish.\r\nBeat eggs with wire wisk and add milk, onion, butter, salt and pepper and beat until well blended. Pour mixture into baking dish then sprinkle cheese and bacon evenly over the top. \r\nBake 20 minutes or until set(like quiche or custard) and golden brown.
