Default Open Face Melts

I really like open face sandwiches which have cheese dripping off of them. One of my favorites is with Black Forest Ham on either a bagel or a multi-grain slice of bread. I like to toast the bread first as this keeps it from getting soggy. Then I put on some Dijon Mustard, a couple slices of ham, a tomato, some shredded lettuce and top it off with a slice of Swiss Cheese! Of course, a slice of dill on the side as well. \r\n\r\nBut you can really use any type of cheese or cold cuts you like. I have used Pastrami and Corned Beef as well as cheeses like Havarti, Provalone and of course.. Mozzarella! I tried Tuna with cheese melted on it once, however, I it was not the greatest... but I saw a recipe on here for Salmon under the broiler which sounds alright... I think I will try it.\r\n\r\nCarrie
