Default Bruschetta

This is always a great appetizer.\r\n\r\n3-4 Plum Tomatoes, diced\r\n1 medium Spanish Onion, diced\r\n1 teaspoon Basil\r\n2 cloves of garlic crushed\r\n2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil\r\n1 French Bread Stick (Baguette) sliced on an angle (it gives a larger surface for the Bruschetta)\r\n\r\nMix all of the ingredients in a dish and then spoon out over the sliced bread. Bake in the toaster oven until the bread is toasted.\r\n\r\nOther options can be to sprinkle some grated parmesan or pepper over the slices just before toasting.

Glad you and your company liked it. Brushchetta is always a big seller around the house.

I agree with kittenluvr, great recipe! I tried it with mozerella cheese on top instead of parm.\r\n\r\n\r\nStan

Great site! This recipe sounds fantastic! I think I will try it out in my new toaster oven. Thanks to you and everyone else on this board who has posted all of these really great recipes. Glad to know my toaster oven can be used for more than just pizza pockets and toast!
