Did you ever roast nuts in a coffee roaster? Is it possible at all?

I never roasted nuts in a coffee roaster, becasue I do not have a roaster at home. Moreover, I am afraid the drum in coffee roaster is too fast and you will simply burn your nuts down.

This is the most easy method to roast nuts in the oven:\r\n\r\nCoat 1 cup of nuts evenly with 1 t. cooking oil. \r\nOn a baking pan spread the nuts evenly and place them into a preheated oven at 350? F. \r\nStir occasionally til the nuts are fragrant and lightly browned (5-10 minutes). \r\nBe careful because the nuts will continue to cook after removed from the oven. \r\nCool on paper towel. \r\nSprinkle with salt.\r\nENJOY

You can roast nuts on top the stove, it will take you only 10-15 minutes. Place them in a heavy skillet and heat slowly over low heat. Shake the pan while roasting like you would for popcorn. Roast them until slightly browned. You can also add salt if you like.
