Default Making Percolated Coffee

Hello: I have a 4 cup electric Farberware percolator. I wanted to ask for any help as to how much coffee grounds & what grinder setting I should use to make a nice strong pot of coffee. Thanks for your help, Dan.

Personally I never used Farberware percolators. But I searched for the info about it and found the following instructions.\r\n\r\nFive steps to make coffee with a Farberware percolator:\r\n1. fill percolator with cold water to desired level (markings are given inside tank)\r\n2. measure grounds into filter basket\r\n3. insert basket on pump assembly\r\n4. replace lid\r\n5. and plug in.\r\n\r\nIt will switche to a keep-warm setting once brewing is completed.\r\n\r\nThat's very easy! As for your question.. How much coffee and grinder settings depend on the taste of coffee you like. With a new coffee machine I usually try these settings or others till I get a perfect cup of espresso. I do not follow the settings described in standard manuals, because it's very personal.

I grind my own coffee, and use various store-bought pre-ground cannisters and have had no bad experiences with my coffee made in percolator.
