Default Caesar Salad

1 head of romaine lettuce\r\n6 pieces of cooked bacon (save the grease for the croutons)\r\ncroutons (recipe below)\r\nparmasian cheese to taste\r\n2 whole anchovies (optional)\r\nKraft Caesar dressing\r\n\r\nClean lettuce under water and spin dry in a salad spinner. Rip leaves apart with hands and put in bowl. Break up the bacon strips with hands and sprinkle over the lettuce. Add croutons and anchovies then coat with the dressing.\r\n\r\nCroutons:\r\n\r\nCut up a few slices of light or dark rye bread or even pumpernickel bread into small squares. Coat in the left over bacon grease and place on a cookie sheet and bake in the oven at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
