Default Salsa Salad

I am sometimes so challeneged in the kitchen. My favorite salad is salsa salad. It's Romaine lettuce in a bag with salsa and a kind of salsa ranch dressing, tortilla strips, and cheese. Yummy!

When I'm in a pinch for dinner, I'll make this salad and brown some ground beef with a packet of taco seasoning. I'll throw it into the salad and you're done. My kids like to add fritos to the salad and I like to use tortilla chips.

That sounds quick and easy. Do you use bagged lettuce? I love bagged lettuce. I know it's a bit more expensive, but I love convenience.\r\n\r\nI'd use the tortilla chips because I cannot stand Fritos. What dressing do you use?

I use the bagged lettuce. I'm one for convenience too!! I hate that it's more expensive but usually I can get them on sale in my area - my local grocery store either has the Dole or the European brand and usually either or goes on sale for the week. \r\n\r\nMy kids love Thousand Island dressing so they'll use that but for myself I just use the salsa....

I love Thousand Island too. Hmmm. There isn't any in the house currently. Weird. But I have like four different kinds of ranch. LOL! I bet Thousand mixed with salsa would be yummy.
