Wash 4-5 carrots and then grate them.
Chop 3 green chillies, coriander and 6-8 flakes of e garlic flakes finely. take a bowl and add the grated carrot, garlic, chillies, coriander, sugar and salt as per taste. Mix well. In a bowl take some oil and heat it. Add a pinch of mustard seeds. After the mustard seeds have crackled away, shut of the burner. Add a pinch of asoftida and then turmeric. Add this to the bowl and mix well. To this add the lemon juice. This salad is very tangy to taste and it is sure to be a hit...!! |
