Default herbal tea recipes

These are two of my favorites:\r\n\r\nChamomile Chai\r\n\r\nINGREDIENTS:\r\n3 tsp fresh ginger root, grated \r\n1 tsp coriander seeds \r\n1/8 tsp cinnamon \r\n1/8 tsp caradmom \r\n1/16 tsp allspice \r\n2 tsp chamomile \r\n\r\nPREPARATION:\r\nCombine everything except chamomile in water and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add chamomile. Steep for another 10 minutes. Strain out herbs and serve hot.\r\n\r\n--------------------------------------\r\n\r\nAlmond Milk\r\n\r\nNot quite a tea recipe, but so many people enjoy my almond tea recipe, that I thought this would also appeal \r\n\r\nINGREDIENTS:\r\n1 cup almonds \r\n4 cups water \r\n4 black peppercorns \r\n1/2 cup sugar \r\n\r\nPREPARATION:\r\nBlanche the almonds, and place them in a blender with the water and peppercorns. Blend until smooth, then strain through a few layers of cheesecloth. Mix the strained almond milk with sugar and serve cold.

I like makings tea by myself, out of fresh and dried herbs that I harvested or bought. These teas have far more taste than the stuff in herbal tea bags.\r\n\r\nSome of my favorite herbs are:\r\nRose hips \r\nOrange Peel \r\nLemon Peel \r\nHibiscus \r\nRose blossoms \r\nLemon Balm \r\nPeppermint \r\nSpearmint \r\nChamomile

Is there any difference between herbal teas for pleasure and for health?

\r\n\r\nI believe ALL herbal teas are for health and pleasure at the same time.

Default Tonic Tea

Tonic Tea. I make it both for pleasure and my health. \r\n\r\n3 slices fresh ginger (spicy, warming, immune tonic)\r\n1 tsp. mint (sweet, digestive)\r\n1 tbsp. chamomile (sweet, relaxant)\r\n1 tsp. nettles (green, system/kidney tonic)\r\n3 slices burdock Root (woody, system/liver tonic)\r\n1 tbsp. red clover (sweet, blood cleanser)\r\n1 tsp. rose hips (sour, vitamin c) \r\n\r\nSteep for 5-15 minutes for a balanced, healthful tea. Best drunk over the period of a few months, for maximum effectiveness as a tonic. One cup a day is good.
