summer treat - Mint and Cumin Water
This is a popular street drink during the Indian summertime - you won't find it during the winter. The cumin - which tastes best if you roast it and grind it yourself - adds a delicious hint of spice. It's also very cooling and people find that it settles the stomach.\r\n\r\nServes 1\r\n\r\nPreparation time: 10-12 minutes\r\nIngredients\r\n\r\n2 x 20g packs fresh mint\r\njuice of 2 limes\r\n? tsp ground cumin\r\npinch of salt\r\n1? tsp sugar\r\nsoda water or sparkling water, well chilled\r\nmint leaves and lime, to garnish\r\nInstructions\r\n\r\nPut the mint, stalks and all, into a blender with the lime juice and blitz to a pur?e.
