Default Indian-Spiced Coffee

Ingredients\r\n 1? cups water\r\n 4 pods cardamom, slit\r\n 1 stick cinnamon, broken in half\r\n pinch nutmeg\r\n 1 clove\r\n 2 cups strong, freshly brewed Mysore coffee\r\n 1 cup milk\r\n 2 tablespoons sugar or honey, or sweeten to taste\r\n\r\nIn a medium-size pot, bring water to a boil. Stir in the spices, cover, and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Stir in coffee, it should be pre-brewed. In a saucepan, heat milk until almost boiling. Strain the coffee through a fine mesh strainer covered with cheesecloth into the milk.\r\nAdd sweetener, stir, and serve in mugs.

Coffee is a very refreshing beverage itself, so any spicery will only mix up the tastes...
