I like exotic resipes, African, Asian etc. This is one from my collection:\r\n\r\n1 lb ground chuck\r\n1 ea small onion, chopped\r\n2 cn beef consomme\r\n2 tb to 3 soy sauce\r\n1 ts Worcestershire sauce\r\n1 ea jar sliced mushrooms, drained\r\n1 c raw rice\r\n1 x salt and pepper to taste\r\n \r\nBrown hamburger & onion. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer until rice is done. To serve, put on top a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds.
