Default Thai Iced Coffee

This is a great recipe in the hot weather.\r\n\r\nIngredients:\r\n\r\nStrong, black ground coffee, sufficient to brew 4 cups\r\n4 tablespoons sugar\r\n4 tablespoons heavy cream\r\n2 teaspoons ground cardamom\r\n1 teaspoon almond flavoring\r\nCrushed ice\r\n\r\nAdd the cardamom to the ground coffee, and brew the coffee.\r\n\r\nWhen the coffee is brewed, add the sugar and almond flavoring, mix well and then let the coffee cool to lukewarm.\r\n\r\nFill four 12 ounce highball glasses half-way to the rim with crushed ice and then fill two-thirds full with coffee.\r\n\r\nInto each glass, stir about 1 tablespoon of heavy cream.\r\n\r\nTo achieve a layered effect, hold a spoon on top of the coffee and pour the cream slowly into the spoon so that the cream floats on top of the glass over the coffee. \r\n\r\nblackjava
