Hello
It is important to clean your coffee maker once a month to keep it brewing hot, quick and without adding bitter flavors to your coffee....
I have been using this Cleancaf Cleaner and Descaler.... It is truly good and odorless... Do try..

I have used filters along with this... It costs something around $25..
