Can anyone tell me anything about Musso S/S Pola ice cream maker?

This is just a warning for those who want to purchase Musso S/S Pola ice cream maker (this is the opinion of my brother):\r\n\r\nOn the whole the maker is OK and it does the job.\r\nBut once you have broken anything in it, the cost of repair will very high! It is made in Italy. The repair warranty is only a year and the problem is that the only place in the country to get it repaired is in NJ. You will have to pay for the shipment to NJ and then pay for the repair.

As far as I know the repair warranty is always a year, for any product.\r\nInteresting info though. A friend of mine had this maker but he never told of any problems with it, maybe because it worked properly.

This is a commercial-quality machine and according to the instructions it can produce up to 2 quarts of ice cream in less than 20 minutes. It does not require pre-freezing, which is very convenient. Also it is easy to clean. I like most that clear lid allows viewing of contents as it processes.
