Smile Chocolate Rum Ice Cream

You will need rum extract for this. This will add to the flavor. You’ll enjoy the combination. This recipe will yield 8 Servings.

2 tb flour (all-purpose)
1 c sugar
2 c milk
2 ounces baking chocolate (unsweetened, 2 sq-broken in pieces)
1 egg (medium or large variety, slightly beaten)
1/2 ts Rum extract
2 c cream (heavy or light, chilled)

Use a big bowl and mix flour and sugar thoroughly. Make sure the bowl you’ll use is microwave safe. Add milk gradually to the mixture. Stir the mixture thoroughly.

Add the pieces of baking chocolate and egg. Make sure they are well blended. Set microwave for about 2-2 ½ mins at (100%) HIGH. Stir the mixture completely until it thickens and boils.

You can then add the rum extract. Blend this with a wire whisk. Make sure it is blended smoothly.

Chill mixture before adding heavy cream. Blend it well. Place inside a 2 qrt ice cream-freezer. Follow the manufacturer’s directions in freezing.
