1) At the supermarket, buy ice cream last so that it did not melt while you're buying other products.\r\n\r\n2) Choose the package that feels hard and shows no signs of thawing and re-freezing.\r\n\r\n3) At home, place ice cream in the coldest part of the freezer, as far from the door as you can.\r\n\r\n4) When you scoop ice cream, as soon as you’ve finished scooping, tightly cover ice cream and return to the freezer.\r\n\r\n5) To help prevent ice crystals from forming, press a sheet of wax paper or plastic wrap on surface of ice cream before covering with lid.
