How does home made ice-cream differs from commercial ice-cream?

Home made ice cream usually does not contain additives.

But my ice cream maker uses pre-mixed ingredients

OK, but I believe the most important difference is in overrun: 20-30% vs 90-110 of the commercial ice cream.

Of course the taste... Even if you mix the right quantity ingredients i am sure we never get the quality of the commerical ones..
