Default types of espresso machines

What's the real difference between commercial, semi-commercial, or home/office espresso machines?

Commercial machines, as compared to any other types, will provide better water and pressure stability and more consisted coffee extracts.

That's right. Commercial machines are also more durable than home machines. They are easy to repair, because any coffee shop owner will have them repaired, rather than throw away and buy a new machine.
