Default Delonghi Magnifica

hi, i have recently purchased a delonghi magnifica single boiler machine. \r\ni am only new to the world of coffee machines and am already having some trouble with my coffee making\r\n\r\n1 the creame on my coffee in nearly non existant more like flat white.. i like latte...\r\n\r\n2 my grind setting is set from factory at the number 4. when the machine dispences the used coffee it is big ( in concistancy ).. probably a bit harsher... should it be like suggar (the concistancy) or even harsher...?\r\n\r\nand also my milk frothing is not great... it either goes all froth or stays liquidy........ i like a creamy milk.... i have been giving it a few taps on the bench and surfing the milk but cant seem to get the knack of it... i like 65 degreess\r\n\r\nthe beans i am using are the vittoria oro 100% arabica cafe restaurant blend....\r\n\r\nmy "amount of coffee into the cup" is set to 1/4 and the coffee errr strongness. (could not think of the corect wording at the time) is set to 3/4..\r\n\r\nany info on my coffee making and any other advice is appreciated as there is nothing like a good cup of latte....
