This site is great. I am looking for a toaster oven for my college dorm. I have a hot plate but I am getting sick of eating macaroni and cheese all of the time! :lol: \r\n\r\nI went to the local Wal-Mart to see what is available but I was looking to find out if someone might be able to recommend a model to me. I am wanting a model that will be able to cook meals in a reasonable amount of time but I do not want to have to take a loan out to buy it.\r\n\r\nThank you in advance.

Oh I remember those days is college with my old K-Mart special toaster oven.... It seemed it only had two temperatures, barely toasted or burnt beyond recognition! :lol: But seriously, I think any toaster oven under $50 should do what you are looking for. When buying just try to remember what you want to cook and how long you are willing to wait for it to be cooked.... translation.... size and power. \r\n\r\nHappy hunting! \r\n\r\n

Thanks for the advice.... What is a K-Mart special???? Maybe I am too young for that.... :lol: Anyway, I ended up getting a Toastmaster TOV425RL which actually has convection cooking and I did not have to take another student loan out to purchase it!!!! :lol:

Yeah, I remember those days with a toaster oven in my dorm room.... way better than eating at the cafeteria! :lol: ... it really was amazing all of the different variations you could make of grilled cheese in a toaster oven.... those were the days.......\r\n\r\nPeace
