I was at my local department store this week and I saw this toaster oven which claims to cook food twice as fast as a normal oven. It says it offers microwave speed with oven quality results. I am looking to find out if anyone has this toaster oven and if they do, does it really live up to its claims.\r\n\r\nThank you.

I saw a commercial for that toaster oven over the weekend. I was searching info on the net when I came across this site. I was also curious about that oven. The commercial said it gives the speed of a microwave and the taste of an oven with over 50 pre-programmed settings. Sounds interesting and worth a look. Hopefully someone who has tried one will post something on it.

Hey, when I was looking for toaster ovens I saw this one as well. It looked really cool, except it was more than what I wanted to spend and it did more than I needed from a toaster oven.

Wow that sounds like a really cool toaster oven. I like my current toaster oven and I also enjoy the speed of a microwave, but putting them both together like that... coolness. Were did you see it?\r\n\r\nRose

Yes it does sound or look pretty cool Rose. I live in the Great White North... or Canada to everyone else... I saw the toaster oven at Canadian Tire which sells more than just tires! I don't know if they have that where you are but I guess you could always check out Black & Decker's website if you really wanted to find one.

I bought mine at Cdn Tire. Don't buy it. It's great for toasting but as far as roasting an entire chicken or chicken pieces (with bone in), it takes longer than what the settings are set at. To be fair though, it makes skin on chicken very cripsy and almost fat-free.

Hey guest(?) thanks for the post. I guess I better get that yanked off of my x-mas list! I am also looking at some Delonghi toaster ovens as well. Some other poster on this board seems to speak pretty highly of them!
