Default Some Recipes don't rise well??

I have an Braedman Ultimate machine, I've tried several recipes, and for the most part they work well. When I tried the Seven Grain recipe and the Two Cheese one, they didn't rise well, and were very heavy. I even tried adding some gulten, figuring that it may lighten them up. Even that was no help. I followed each recipe to the letter and used fresh yeast. What could be wrong?

I used to have that problem all the time with the cheese bread. I think the oils or salt in the cheese was throwing off the recipe. I used to just add an additional 1/2 teaspoon of yeast to get some rise out of it. As for the seven grain, you might want to add more yeast or when it make sure the dough is just a little sticky. If it is too heavy, sometimes that means the dough is too wet and that is why it will not rise.\r\n\r\nI hope this helps! \r\n\r\nMarcie 8)
