Question Recipe or Machine Malfunction?

Hi all, I'm new to bread machines. I've had my Breadman for about 2 years. All has seemed well up till the past few months. Almost every time I use my machine the bread rises so high it touches the inside of the lid. Once it's baked, the height and width of the loaf top prevents the handle for the pan from coming up and so I have to mangle the top of the loaf to get the pan out of the machine.

Everything still tastes great, I just would like to not have to mangle the tops of the loaves to get them out of the machine.

This has been happening with the two recipes that I use most often, previously without incident. And, yes, I'm using the appropriate-sized recipe.

Thoughts?

Thanks, D
