Default Home Roasters

I have an Alpenroast home roaster. It works OK but I was wondering if there are any other recommended home roasters that work better?\r\n\r\nRandy\r\n\r\nhttp://www.jewelercam.com/coffeebean.html

To advice you a better roaster we need to know what you do not like in your Alpenroast What do you mean by "better"?

The automatic settings seem to roast differently on the same setting.\r\nThere is not a viewing window to see the roast and I have to listen to try to get the proper roast. Too much guess work for this novice.

One of my friend is using Caffe Rosto at home, with the glass lid allowing to watch the roast in progress. It takes him only 10 minutres to roast the beans.
