Default question about coffee proportions

hi..i wasn't quite sure where to put this as i don't know much about coffee..i would really appreciate any help you could give me on this..\r\n\r\nmy step-father works for the red cross and they're preparing for the inauguration, which means making sure there's plenty of coffee...so they have a big urn that makes 100 cups of coffee...my question is how many cups or ounces of coffee does it take to make a pot of coffee in that urn?

does it make sense for 6 oz of ground coffee beans to produce 100 cups of brewed coffee?
