I love Starbucks, but is it overrated? I am not a coffee expert, so I don't know. I like their espresso and coffee blends, but I have been told that there are other coffee makers out there that are of more quality than Starbucks and are less expensive. Does anyone care to share their knowledge/opinions?

There isn't a Starbucks near where I live, but there are a few ma and pa coffee shops and I think their coffee is just as good, if not better than Starbucks. Of course they don't have as much fancy drinks like the frappuccinos and caramel macchiatos that Starbucks has, but they make a great Americano or flavored Latte.
